At the time, he earned four Deutschmarks per day. <\/p>\n<p>Until 1949, the three-wheeler was the only way he could earn a living \u2013 which, by post-war standards, counted for a lot. His biggest challenge was sourcing the petrol.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1950<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_2 event_2 year_1950\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1950\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">The first truck<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>After the currency reform, Artur was able to purchase a small truck for the first time. At first, he was a one-man shop. He was the driver, office clerk, apprentice, car mechanic and manager all at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Fruit and vegetables were his main cargo. His workday usually started at 4 a.m. and didn\u2019t finish until late at night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1969<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_1 event_3 year_1969\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1969\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">Family business, the second generation<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>Artur Sch\u00fctz\u2019 son Helmut Sch\u00fctz started working in the family business. He had long dreamt of moving into transporting heavy goods \u2013 and after just a short while, he started building up a department for heavy transport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1970<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_2 event_4 year_1970\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1970\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">Success through performance<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>The company was already running 10 vehicles and started to take on inter-regional transport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1972<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_1 event_5 year_1972\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1972\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">Reinforcements for the business<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>Helmut Sch\u00fctz\u2019 wife, Vera Sch\u00fctz, joined the family business as a qualified saleswoman for freight forwarding projects.<\/p>\n<p>The Sch\u00fctz family also grew at home: Ahrndt was born in 1970, and Eike followed in 1973. Both were destined for the freight forwarding industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1986<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_2 event_6 year_1986\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1986\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">Handing over the first baton<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>Artur Sch\u00fctz handed over management of the company to the second generation and took his well-deserved retirement.<\/p>\n<p>Helmut Sch\u00fctz took over responsibility for the management of the family business\u2019 20 employees in Hannover. By this time, the company has gained important experience in the field of \u201cspecial machine transport\u201d and is able to meet a wide range of requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1988<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_1 event_7 year_1988\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1988\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">The company continues to evolve<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>Arne H\u00e4sener started work at Sch\u00fctz immediately after training as a forwarding agent. Initially working as a dispatcher covering a number of different areas, he later worked as the head of the assembly and heavy construction columns. During this time he began his part-time professional studies in economics and business administration. From 1999, he explored new professional challenges, before returning to the company in 2011.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1989<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_2 event_8 year_1989\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1989\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">The Iron Curtain falls<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>The company used this year to expand its business activities. Helmut Sch\u00fctz took to the road for days in the new federal states of Germany and set up business there. The firm acquired Spedition Heinrich in Dresden, taking on its ten employees and four vehicles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1993<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_1 event_9 year_1993\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1993\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">The third generation<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>After working hard for two years and expanding the company\u2019s capacity to 22 employees and 11 vehicles, Ahrndt Sch\u00fctz took over management of Heinrich Schwertransporte in Dresden. He successfully continued operations and became, to his parents\u2019 delight, an expert in both the technical and commercial sides of the business.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>1994<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_2 event_10 year_1994\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_1994\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">A young and dynamic team<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p><strong>1994 to 2001<\/strong><br \/>\nIn 1994, 50 years after the foundation of the company, Eike Sch\u00fctz, the second son, successfully completed his training as a forwarding agent and entered the family business. Eike Sch\u00fctz made remarkable progress towards becoming a forwarding professional in both the commercial and technical branches of the business.<\/p>\n<p>In 2001, Holger Gross started his disposition activities. After two years of other activities in southern Germany, he returned in 2006 and later took over forwarding management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>2012<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_1 event_11 year_2012\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_2012\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">Preparations<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>Together with Helmut Sch\u00fctz, Eike Sch\u00fctz, Holger Gross and Arne H\u00e4sener began to prepare the second baton handover. Helmut is happy to pass on his know-how.<\/p>\n<p>With Eike Sch\u00fctz as technical manager, Holger Gross in forwarding management and Arne H\u00e4sener as office staff, Helmut Sch\u00fctz continues to successfully lead the team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ie_wrapper hidden\">\n<div class=\"datemarker\"><span>2014<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"data hidden data_2 event_12 year_2014\">\n<div class=\"infotext text_2014\">\n<div class=\"pfeil\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"title\">The second baton is handed over<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>Contrary to the original plan, Eike Sch\u00fctz left Sch\u00fctz Spedition in 2014 and took over the responsibility for TMM Transporte International GmbH from his father. He continues to run the enterprise successfully.<\/p>\n<p>Sch\u00fctz Spedition GmbH\u2019s new leadership was formed with Holger Gross as the operational director and Arne H\u00e4sener as the commercial managing director.<\/p>\n<p>All employees stayed on at the young company which took over the entire fleet, as well as the special tools and equipment for the assembly columns.<\/p>\n<p>This provided the company with the long-term know-how of its employees and an extensive special fleet and modern tools.<\/p>\n<p>Modern technology allows for almost any kind of transport.<\/p>\n<p>From sophisticated machines, through heavy safes, to 100 ton transformers and large excavators, we transport everything, punctually, to the desired location. Various loading cranes, forklift trucks, suspension systems on rails and many other technical tools facilitate the demanding work of our trained personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Flexibility, a highly developed awareness for quality and performance, and a commitment to the cause, all contribute to the impressive level of service that we provide; for people, by people.<\/p>\n<p>Our guiding principle is trust.
